MindoPop

A subtraction game for kids: how many are left?

Start by taking objects away: if you move two eggs away from a group of five, how many are left? In MindoPop, subtraction questions are part of Egg Rain. Balloon Pop’s current Math mode uses addition.

Choose the mixed level in Egg Rain

Select Addition and subtraction in the maths level menu. Both operations appear together; there is no subtraction-only filter. Larger numbers starts with more demanding questions, while Small numbers includes only addition.

For 4 − 2 = ?, work out the result and choose 2. Subtraction questions do not produce negative answers. The correct number is among the choices; the game does not present an incorrect completed equation as the question.

A calmer round and a short review

Easy mode offers more time to choose. Letting the answer timer run out does not take away points. After a round, use the short review to solve missed questions again without a timer or point penalty.

For practice together, move two toys away from five toys and count those remaining, then relate that number to an on-screen answer choice. Try Balloon Pop for number recognition, or the math games page to explore practice with both operations.
