Free math games for kids
Start with a task the player already feels comfortable trying. MindoPop offers two different ways to practise: answer a question while catching eggs in Egg Rain, or tap a balloon showing the answer in Balloon Pop. Both run free in your browser.
Which maths game should you choose?
For early number recognition, try Learn Numbers or Find the Number in Balloon Pop. For small additions, choose Balloon Pop Math or Egg Rain’s small-number level. To mix addition and subtraction, choose the mixed level in Egg Rain.
Use no-penalty balloon practice to focus on choosing an answer without losing lives. Easy mode in Egg Rain gives a longer answer window. Try the question type, answer time and controls together to choose a comfortable starting point.
Try a short practice together
Before trying 2 + 3 = ?, count two objects and three more together, then look for the answer. For 5 − 2 = ?, move two objects away from a group of five and count what remains. These examples can be used for a quick preparation away from the screen.
Keep play in short rounds. Egg Rain lets you review missed questions at the end, while Balloon Pop’s short learning round gives you a small target to complete. Choose a number, addition or subtraction page below for a more focused starting point.
