Egg Rain: an egg-catching math game
The hen is dropping eggs. Move your basket from side to side to catch them! Egg Rain adds addition and subtraction questions to an egg-catching game. Questions appear in the play area, so you choose a number answer while keeping an eye on the falling eggs.
How to play
On a computer, use the arrow keys or A / D, or move your mouse in the play area. On a phone, drag with your finger. Caught eggs earn points; a missed egg costs one life. You start with three lives and can collect hearts to reach up to five. The round ends when your lives run out.
When a question appears, choose its result from the number options. For 4 − 2 = ?, choose 2. You have five seconds in Normal mode or eight in Easy mode. If you leave a question unanswered, there is no point penalty and the game continues.
Choose a maths level
Small numbers uses addition only. The mixed level includes both addition and subtraction; the larger-number level starts with more demanding questions. Subtraction questions have non-negative results. Multiplication and division are not current question options.
A correct answer while the game moves earns five points. Catch a clock dropped by the pigeon to pause the flow for five seconds during a question. A correct answer to that paused question earns three points. You can use at most three of these pauses per round.
Surprises and another try
Golden eggs, temporary larger baskets and surprise chicks add variety. Watch out for the rooster’s cactus: it can shrink your basket. The basket returns to its starting size when the countdown ends, and a repair basket can mend it sooner. At the end of a round, open earned cards and revisit missed questions in a short review.
If tracking the eggs and answering together feels difficult, start with Easy mode or the introductory round. Each game has its own daily leaderboard for eligible completed rounds. Your best round counts, and daily standings reset at midnight in Istanbul.
